Beverley Dondale
President & Exec. Director

January 1, 2025, Beverley Dondale took over the role of President. She comes with a diverse entrepreneurial background, the most notable, starting the first film studio in partnership with Malahat Nation on Vancouver Island. She is passionate about creating a film studio that reduces the solid waste stream by salvaging materials and distributing them for reuse either into the community or back to production.

Ted Reiff
Founder & Secretary

Ted Reiff stepped down from his role as President and is staying on to help in the transition. Prior to founding TRP in 1995, Ted was managing partner with an investment banking firm that provided financial services to young technology companies. Now, in addition to guiding TRP’s national expansion program, he consults with private companies and government bodies on a variety of demolition and waste diversion projects. A graduate of Ohio State University and a licensed demolition contractor, Ted served three terms as board president of I Love a Clean San Diego and is an advisor to Urban Habitat Chicago.

Michael Chambers
Treasurer

The organizations accountant, Michael came to TRP with a diverse background in growth and process consulting with the “Big Four” accounting firms and also with companies such as Apple and Cisco Systems. He also operates as a real estate broker, property manager, and frequently engages in construction and deconstruction as a personal hobby.

Emily McGill
Board Advisor

Co-founded the Materials Innovation and Learning Lab (MILL) Co-op, working to empower local deconstruction and remanufacturing. Co-founded and currently co-facilitate Master Recycler Vancouver an 8-week adult “train the trainer” education program on waste prevention, recycling, composting, and community outreach. Co-founded the International Field Testing Program with the US-based 501 C(3) Compost Council Research & Education Foundation through BSIbio. Contracted for the nonprofit, academic and government-founded BC Solid Waste Research Collaborative to enhance their website, social media, and success metrics in 2016

Regional Associates

Dan Armishaw
Regional Associates, Vancouver Island, BC

Dan is a trailblazer in deconstruction on Vancouver Island, having introduced and championed the practice in the region. During his career, he has overseen numerous large-scale commercial projects salvaging timber and completed nearly 100 residential deconstructions, diverting over 800 tonnes of old-growth lumber across Vancouver and Vancouver Island. With extensive experience in salvaging materials for reuse, Dan has played a significant role in reducing waste and preserving valuable building resources. Now as Regional Manager for Progressive Environmental Vancouver Island, Dan continues to prioritize sustainability, helping clients maximize the value of reusable materials while promoting environmentally responsible practices.

Meredith Moore
Regional Associates, Toronto, Ontario

Meredith is founder and CEO of Ouroboros Deconstruction and Salvage serving the Greater Toronto Area. Ouroboros provides deconstruction and waste reduction consulting services for residential and commercial clients, as well as salvage sales and reuse designs. Meredith is a designer, deconstructor and an advocate for the circular economy constantly working towards reshaping perspectives on the endless possibilities for the reuse of existing materials. She holds a Masters in Interior Design, specializing in sustainable environments and healthy materials, and is a certified TRUE zero waste advisor.

Kyle Armstrong
Regional Associates, Vancouver, BC

Kyle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to The ReUse People as the Regional Associate for Vancouver. As the former Regional Manager for Unbuilders in Vancouver, Kyle salvaged countless heritage buildings and partnered with organizations like Habitat for Humanity successfully completing many full deconstructions and donations. Kyle has been involved in many projects focusing on repurposing downstream building materials and has overseen green initiative projects using reclaimed materials. With over 12 years of experience running his deconstruction and abatement company, Progressive Environmental, Kyle has honed his expertise in sustainable building practices and material recovery. Kyle is passionate about expanding deconstruction and salvaging services and helping clients realize the environmental and financial benefits of reusing building materials.
